Today on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Curt 20 by 48 Cargo Carrier, part number C18110. As you can see, our cargo carrier has a nice expanded metal bottom. It's going to allow dirt and debris to fall through and keep away from your cargo. It's got a nice lip around the outside. It's about 2 1/2 inches tall. It's got some nice tie down points to secure your cargo all the way around. Nice black powder coated finish, designed to hold 300 pounds, so if you need to add a little extra cargo to your truck, this would be a great one to add to. more

Today on this 2016 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to be test fitting the 20x48 Curt Cargo Carrier, part number C18110. This cargo carrier has a 300-pound carrying capacity. If you look closer here, you have this nice mesh floor here which makes it easier to clean. Along the border of the carrier we have these tie-down points that you can use for either ratchet straps or bungee cords, whatever you use to tie down your gear. I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. The first is going to be how much distance is added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier is actually installed. Now this carrier comes with an anti-rattle device, which is a collar that slips around the outside of your receiver tube and you tighten it down. more

A couple things I really like about the carrier here, one's going to be the size of that expanded steel on the floor. If you're putting muddy, chunky things on there, it's going to give us plenty of room for dirt and debris and things like that fall down and out. I also like the shorter rail that we've got around the outside. This is two and three-quarters of an inch high, so there's plenty of rail there for front-to-back and side-to-side stability. more

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, we're test fitting the Max Tow Aluminium Cargo Carrier. Now this cargo carrier is mainly aluminium construction, really nice and light weight. It's designed for sure in 2 inch hitches and it has a capacity of 500 pounds. The part number on it is MT70422. THIs carrier's 41, or I'm sorry 21 by 48. You can see it's got the aluminum slatted floor here, this floor's going to allow for plenty of that larger dirt and debris and things like that to fall down in through while giving us plenty of load support for our gear that we do have loaded up. The raised rail around the outside is going to be about 2 inches high. more

That gives us good support for our gear, side-to-side and front-to-back. And you also see it makes some really nice connection points here for our straps. Also we're going to have reflectors on the side and on the rear to help increase our visibility. more

Part number on it is MT70422. This is an aluminum constructed platform here, it is really light weight, easy to handle, really sets it apart from some of the other carriers. You can see it is a slatted floor, that is going to give us good support also allow for dirt/debris and things like that to fall down and out. You will see the small raised edge around the outside, it is about 2 inches high. This provides us with 4 good attachment points for straps if we want to secure our gear. more

This has the larger size, expanded steel floor, so even if you've got larger chunks of dirt and mud and stuff, it should'nt be any issues with that falling down through. I like the platform style. Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Express we're test fitting the Curt 20x60 Folding Cargo Carrier. This cargo carrier is designed for use with up to 500 pounds and also for use with 2" hitches. The part number on it is C18151. This carrier is going to offer the medium size expanded steel floor. We're going to have good support for even smaller items, but still plenty of room for dirt, debris, moisture and stuff like that to fall down and out. The raised rail all the way around the outside is going to be about 5-1/2" tall. This gives us good stability for our gear but it's also going to offer us some nice connection points so we can get that gear secured once it's on. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Chevrolet Express Van C18150- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Express we've got out the Curt 20x60 cargo carrier. We're test fitting it to see what kind of spacing we have between it and the back of the van. Now this cargo carrier is going to carry up to 500 pounds. It's been designed for use in two inch hitches. Part number on it is C18150. Now the flooring in this carrier is going to be a medium-sized expanded steel, plenty of room for dirt, debris, and moisture to fall down and through so we don't get corrosion on top but not so big that if we put some smaller items on here we'd have to worry about them falling down and through. more

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at the Let's Go Aero GearCage 48" x 32" Cargo Carrier, Part Number HCR222. Let's go ahead and get you some measurements. Our ground clearance at the lowest point is going to be about 13 and 1/4 inches. Overall, we've added 40 inches, and at our closest point to the back of the vehicle, we're at about 5 and 3/4 inches. Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today, on our 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, we're doing a test fit of the Lesko Arrow Gear Cage, HCR 222 Cargo Carrier. It has a 300 pound weight capactiy, is 48" x 32", and designed to work with our 2" hitches. We've already got this loaded up on our vehicle, first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements here. Our ground clearance is going to be first, to the bottom of our carrier, we're going to have about 16 1/4" there, overall to the back of our vehicle, we're going to have about 39 3/4", and our closest point is going to be about 5 1/2" away. With our Traverse, we have a single, passenger-side exhaust here. It's up under our fascia, and it comes straight down at the ground, so you shouldn't have to worry about carrying any heat-sensitive materials on your carrier since it does come straight towards the ground there. If we check our hatch break over point here, we've got that automatic hatch, so it's going to open up, but we're not going to make any contact with the carrier, which is great. We close this up a bit, we can check our break over point with our platform. more

It is designed to work with two inch hitches, and has a weight capacity of five hundred pounds. The first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements here. Our ground clearance is going to be first. We have about seventeen and three quarter inches of clearance. Overall to our vehicle, we're adding about thirty one and a half inches. more
